Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Sierra Edge Construction. By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions, which, together with our privacy policy, govern Sierra Edge Construction’s relationship with you in relation to our construction and remodeling services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services.

2. Acceptance of Agreement

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. This agreement represents the entire and only agreement between you and Sierra Edge Construction and supersedes all prior agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings regarding our services.

3. Description of Services

Sierra Edge Construction provides residential and commercial construction, remodeling, renovations, and related consultation services. The exact scope of work will be detailed in your signed Service Agreement.

4. Use of Services

Our services are intended for lawful residential and commercial property improvements. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, codes, and regulations and to ensure your use of our services does not interfere with or negatively impact our ability to serve other clients.

5. Estimates & Change Orders

All estimates are provided in good faith based on available information. Any changes or additions requested after work begins must be documented in a signed Change Order, which may affect the timeline and cost of the project.

6. Payment & Refund Policy

A deposit may be required to begin work on any project.

Payment schedules, amounts, and due dates will be specified in the Service Agreement.

Additional charges may apply for changes to the project scope requested by the client.

Refunds, if any, will be determined according to the stage of the project and the work completed, as outlined in the Service Agreement.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients must fulfill all requirements stated in the Service Agreement, including but not limited to:

Providing necessary permits and approvals.

Ensuring access to the property during agreed work hours.

Communicating promptly to avoid project delays.
Failure to meet these requirements may result in service delays or additional costs.

8. Permits, Approvals & Utilities

Unless otherwise stated in the Service Agreement, clients are responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, approvals, and utility clearances required for the project.

9. Warranties & Disclaimer

Sierra Edge Construction warrants that all work will be completed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. Specific warranty terms will be outlined in your Service Agreement. No other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are provided.

10. Liability & Indemnification

Sierra Edge Construction will not be liable for delays or damages caused by circumstances beyond our control (including weather, supply shortages, or acts of third parties). Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sierra Edge Construction, its employees, and subcontractors from any claims or damages arising from the client’s breach of these terms or misuse of services.

11. Insurance

Sierra Edge Construction carries appropriate liability and workers’ compensation insurance. Proof of coverage can be provided upon request. Clients are encouraged to maintain their own homeowner’s or property insurance during the project.

12. Safety

Clients agree to keep the job site safe and accessible for our workers and subcontractors. Children, pets, and unauthorized individuals must be kept away from construction areas at all times.

13. Intellectual Property

All materials, designs, and plans created by Sierra Edge Construction during the course of providing services remain the property of Sierra Edge Construction unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Clients are granted a limited license to use these materials solely for the services provided. Ownership of custom designs may be transferred upon full payment and project completion, as outlined in the Service Agreement.

14. Termination

Either party may terminate the Service Agreement in writing for cause if the other party fails to meet its obligations. In such cases, the client will be responsible for payment of all completed work and materials purchased up to the termination date.
